San Diego's Premier Dance Band
About the Band

Kimberly is a native to San Diego and began singing at the age of 3! By 8 she had begun taking guitar lessons and soaked everything in like a sponge over a 15 year period. All through Kimberly’s school years she participated in Talent Shows and joined any musical groups she could find. Attending Grossmont High School, Kimberly was a member of the once famed Red Robe Choir and was also a member of their elite Ensemble group during her Junior and Senior years.

Some years after, Kimberly became the Guitarist and Female Lead Vocalist for a Top 40 Dance Group called ‘The Last Minute Band’. Within the group Kimberly perfected her musical craft while they performed together for 7 years. Kimberly, always being the adventure seeker and a risk taker decided to move to Anchorage, Alaska.  After surviving the wilds for 5 years, she finally came to her senses and moved back to San Diego to defrost.

Of her newest role as RocKandy’s Female Lead Vocalist, Kimberly says she could not be happier in joining with such wonderful music professionals!  She is enjoying the light-hearted, playful bantering within the group and the fast bonding that is developing between her and all of the members.  Kimberly especially loves the high energy music that is RocKandy!

Hello, I like taking long romantic walks in the nude during a blizzard and saving kittens from burning trees. My perfect woman is one who recently inherited a large trust fund and is extremely gullible and likes... oh wait, what, this isn't for a personal ad? A bio for RocKandy?

O.K. try this... Bret is a 3rd generation drummer, who horrified his father and grandfather for forgoing jazz in favor of rock and roll.

Born and raised in Southern California, Bret is the newest member of RocKandy and has taken them from playing in retirement home cirucuit to the hottest clubs in San Diego. When not visiting his parole agent, Bret owns a packaging company and is a professional photographer. Bret is an Aries and his favorite color is Rum and Coke.
